Write-UpsThe write-ups are short summaries and discussions of the readings. They should be between 1 and 2 pages single-spaced with 12-point font and 1" margins. They should be written as concisely as humanly possible. Pack as much information into as few words as possible. Bullet points are encouraged. The write-ups should have at least two sections: a summary and and an analysis. The summary outlines the main points/events/etc in the reading. The analysis comments on the reading from the point of view of studying groups. In other words, the analysis section is about the lessons about human groups that you draw from the reading. Write-ups are always due before class on the day they are due, via email. No printed versions please. You can't be late on these because we discuss the material in class. |
